Little Sun has created ultra-affordable, durable, functional and beautiful solar lamps. Little Sun was launched in 2012 by the incredible Danish-Icelandic artist, Olafur Eliasson and engineer Frederik Ottesen. In recognition of his accomplishments Mr. Eliasson was appointed as Climate Goodwill Ambassador by the United Nations Development Programme
Little Sun solar lamps are beautiful and functional small pieces of art which last in field much longer than alternatives such as glass bottle lanterns. Little Sun Foundation’s mission is to get the Little Sun solar lamps cost-effectively to those in need.
